IMPORTANT THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WHAT GOES ON IN OUR TOWN
ARUN WANTS TO SWEEP AWAY THE HOTHAMTON SUNKEN GARDENS WITHOUT CONSULTING YOU. They
say they want to make a better park, but it’ll be 26% less green space and play area,
plus there’ll be fewer parking spaces too. All so that they can build 100 flats
on the site, which might also mean the loss of the Health Centre there...more
RESIDENTS’ “OUT OF ARUN” CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED ON FACEBOOK. A group of Bognor Regis residents
has launched a campaign to separate Bognor Regis from Arun District Council on a
Facebook page, and within a short time more than 2,500 people had signed up to support
THE ASDA THAT ARUN REFUSED US HAS NOW BEEN BUILT AT FERRING. A huge regeneration
and job-creation opportunity for Bognor Regis was lost when Arun District Council
refused planning permission for ASDA at Oldlands Farm in 2008. Now it’s gone ‘east
of the river’ to Ferring and Bognor Regis folk are furious.....more
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR COUNCILLORS COSTING YOU? Their allowances (that’s pay, not expenses)
have come down slightly but are still over £400,000. Click on councillors’ allowancesto know more...

DO YOU WANT HUNDREDS MORE FLATS IN BOGNOR REGIS?
– CONSERVATIVE COUNCILLORS HAVE SAID THIS SHOULD HAPPEN
They seem to believe 200+ more flats (80 on the seafront Regis Centre site) would
help improve the town, in spite of the fact that hundreds built in the recent past
have not delivered regeneration
And did you know that Bognor Regis Town Council and its Electors have passed a vote
of no confidence in the Bognor Regis regeneration proposals?
If you disagree with what’s being proposed, what can YOU do about it? Click on regeneration
